Last week a pair of our Butler Bulldog sneakers landed in Levester Johnson’s hands, and he is exactly why we made these shoes – for rabid fans who love their school.

We’re huge IUPUI fans here at Moxsters, and we are also huge fans of Ron Hunter. Two years ago Ron partnered with Samaritan’s Feet to help raise awareness for needy children without shoes. His campaign worked! Once we learned about Samaritan’s Feet and their mission, we knew that we too could make a difference. Little did we know the timing to make an impact could not have been better.

Simplified, dye sublimation is a process where you reverse print a design or a photo and then use temperatures above 400 degrees to turn the inks into a gas that then bond with the substrate. As we write this a new shipment is arriving here at our warehouse in Indianapolis of all of our favorite college shoes – Michigan State, Arizona State, Texas A&M, Butler and so many more. After the jump we’ll share a couple of photos of the boxes arriving early this morning.

Here at Moxsters, we have our own dream list of colleges for whom we’d like to make sneakers, sooner than later of course. For 2009 CLC listed their most profitable college licenses, and its no surprise that our top five schools pretty much align.
